In this video I share with you guys the tool that I made to remove fuel injectors on a 2011 jaguar XF.
Try to move linkage that connects the right rack to the left, but it feels stuck. 3) So pull intake manifold and governor housing. Governors slide nice as well as the max fuel lever that hits against adjustment screw. Also the arm on the vertical shaft that is lined up right behind the left rack control rod. Odds are 1 pump is probably stuck, holding it in no fuel position. I would try to remove the shut off solenoid and. A) check to see if it works electrically. B) see if you can manipulate the rack in and out. It should be free with almost no resistance. If its bound, you have a bad/stuck pump. T.

The fuel rail is held in place by four bolts and the rubber O-rings on the injectors, but there are a few things you will need to remove first to give you room to work. Begin by removing the larger rubber crossover hose between the vacuum regulators on the front of the engine, along with the small rubber hose that has a Y connector on the
Fuel flow to injector pump is good. Plenty of flow. Verified by removing hose after the second filter and watching it while turning on key. The lift pump functions normally and both filters are new. The solenoid clicks when the key is turned to the ON position, and again when it turns OFF. When the key is turned on, the solenoid is in the OUT

Now, before you take the fuel rail off, you need to relieve the gasoline pressure. There are 2 methods: One is to use compressed air (if you have a compressor), set the compressor to about 30 psi max and give a short burst of pressure inside the front valve (take the cap off, and it will look similar to your tire valve stem - and works the same).
Location. Roosterville, MO. Tractor. JD 955/70A/7 TLB. Decided to take one of the injector line off and head into town to try and match up a fastener to determine the thread size on the injector. 1/2" is too big, 7/16" is too small as I figured, it probably metric. An M12 x 1.75 bolts seemed to thread into the nut on the fuel line perfectly

This can happen if they are not changed when the injector is removed or they have been in a high mileage oil burning engine for a long time. When they are stuck, they are really stuck! Don't use an easy out. Use a flat blade screw driver because if the easy out bites into the cast iron cylinder head you will never get it out. Besides the easy out is too short. a light tap on the screw driver will drive it into the hole of the copper. then twist it and it comes out stuck on the end of the driver.

Disconnect wiring and fuel lines. Remove injection lines. Remove timing cover. Remove belt and tensioner. Loosen bolt holding pump to timing cover. On between the pump and block is tricky. Loosen nut on pump shaft at front of pump. A few gentle taps while the nut is loose got the taper to free up between the shaft and gear.
